Access Log Manager
What's the purpose of the Access Log Manager? What kind of information will it supply you with?
An access log is a complete list of all the files which were accessed by the visitors of a particular Internet site. Every single file that was requested for whatever reason shall be listed, so if you have just one webpage with three embedded pictures, one video and one embedded text file, as an illustration, the access log will contain a total of six entries - one for any of the 6 files that were accessed when the website visitor opened the webpage. A log usually contains the file name and path, the date, in addition to the visitor’s Operating System, web browser and IP address. Occasionally you could also find the referrer websites that sent the visitors to your website. The data an access log file features is in human-readable plain text format. It may be processed by special software on a laptop or computer and used to prepare reports on the functionality of a website, independent of the web stats your hosting server may have created.

Access Log Manager in Cloud Website Hosting
Enabling the generation of access logs shall be very easy if you get a
cloud website hosting from us. The Hepsia website hosting Control Panel, supplied with all the accounts, features a section dedicated to different logs and that is where you will find the access logs as well. When you navigate there, you will see a list of all the
domain names hosted within the account and the subdomains created for them. Our custom made cloud hosting platform shall start creating an access log for each of them as early as you click on the On button, which you'll see on the right. If you no longer require logs, disabling the option is just as easy and can be done by clicking on the Off button in the very same section. All the logs are downloadable, therefore you can conveniently save and manage them on your desktop PC or laptop.

Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our sophisticated hosting platform will generate access logs for each website hosted within a
semi-dedicated server account, provided that this function is activated. All domain names and subdomains that you have will be listed in the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, that we provide with all the accounts, so if you would like our system to start generating logs for each of them, you should simply click on the little button on the right side of the respective domain/subdomain and change the default Off option to On. You'll be able to stop this feature anytime by following the exact same steps. You can find a Download link for each log within the very same section of the CP, so you can save the content gathered by our system in .txt format with just a click. An existing log file could be downloaded even after the function has been deactivated, so you'll still be able to view the data that has already been generated.
